RIP Jan Hooks

Jan Hooks, Decatur Native Has Died At Age 57

I first saw Jan Hooks on the short-lived comedy show “Tush” that was produced and aired by Ted Turner’s TBS here in Atlanta in the early 80s. She was brilliantly silly. I kept my eyes out for her as the years went on and was delighted when she showed up in “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure,” and “Saturday Night Live.” I think she was one of the greatest and least appreciated comediennes of our time. Here are a couple of my favorite Jan Hooks moments.

Thanks for all the laughs!
